Disney Princess in Art Nouveau

 Rebirth by Hannah-Alexander

 "Ariel, The Little Mermaid.

So, I've been obsessed with Alphonse Mucha and 50s Pin Up recently, and this is the result. I may do more. It's certainly a style I could get used to!

I chose to surround Ariel with Lotus flowers because they represent rebirth. I wanted the whole thing to come out bluer but green just came about naturally. I guess it makes sense, considering the rebirth theme anyway "

Innocence by Hannah-Alexander

 "Snow White.

Part of my Alphonse Mucha/art nouveau obsession.
Flowers are: Freesia for innocence, lilies for purity and monkshood (which are poisonous) for caution."

Your Love Life and Your Favorite Disney Prince

Everyone has a favorite Disney prince—they're all handsome, strong and heroic, but what does your dream prince say about your love life?

Prince Charming (Cinderella)

Oh, you’ve chosen Prince Charming, have you? It seems like you’ve gone for the easy choice. His name is Prince Charming, after all. But is he really the cutest? Is he really the right one for you? Is he really the love of your life? That is what is at stake here! It seems to me you might get fooled by overly-romantic gestures (the whole pumpkin carriage/dancing in the moonlight/searching for the slipper-owner thing), and possibly bad pickup lines, when you really need to think about what you actually want. You also might be easily fooled by someone who you think can save you. And to be fair, Prince Charming lit-er-al-ly saved Cinderella’s ass. She would have been cleaning those Step Sisters’ toilets until the cows came home. I mean, PHEW Cinderella. That was a close one. And while that kind of thing does happen in real life, you should never count on it too heavily.

Robin Hood (Robin Hood)

You’re a good person, aren’t you? I like you. You not only value good deeds, and demand that your partner does, too. I think you’re also the kind of person who will not settle. You will end up meeting an absolute 10, and you will lead a ridiculously happy life. In the country side. Yes, I am thinking of Sherwood Forest. And people will look at your pictures on Facebook and say “Oh God I just HATE her, that lucky, lucky duck.” With Robin Hood, you have found the little diamond in the rough. Robin Hood is easily overlooked because he’s a fox. But because he is so often overlooked, he doesn’t just automatically think anyone will sleep with him. He won’t cheat on you. He appreciates the good in people, which attracts him to other good people. He will choose a partner that he is head-over-heels with. And if that’s you, I say, lucky lucky duck I HATE you.

Disney Princess on Vogue

Disney Princesses on the cover of Vogue magazine!
How awesomely  BITCHY...SKINNY...and kind of evil they all look. I love how the cover stories are related to their own fairy tales stories.... ENJOY
ps: of course Ariel she is the best on the cover by far!!

Fairy TaleS with Dakota Fanning

Dakota Fanning was shot as fairy-tale characters Rapunzel, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Little Red Riding Hood by photographer/fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld for the January 2007 issue ofVanity Fair. Here’s a little story that Dakotashared on shooting as Rapunzel: “Karl was like, ‘Put your finger on the spindle,’ and I was like, ‘O.K., I’ll put my finger on the spindle.’ And he was like, ‘We need some blood,’ because she pricks her finger on the spindle, and I was like, ‘O.K.’ So we had this red cheek gel–blush. So we put the ‘blood’ on my finger, and I was on this chaise, and it was so fun. It was nice and relaxed.” Read the full article by clicking the thumbnails below! Here’s the introduction of the article:

Top 10 Fairy Tale Origins

Fairy tales of the past were often full of macabre and gruesome twists and endings. These days, companies like Disney have sanitized them for a modern audience that is clearly deemed unable to cope, and so we see happy endings everywhere. This list looks at some of the common endings we are familiar with – and explains the original gruesome origins. If you know of any others, be sure to mention it in the comments – or if you know of a fairy tale that is just outright gruesome (in its original or modern form), speak up.

Disney Fairy Tale Commissioned ~

I am always fascinated by the magic of fairy tales! As a little girl, I always took my mother's fabric to dress up like a princess and watch all of Disney's cartoon over and over again. The recent disney fairly which I love must be 'Tangled' which reminded me of 'The Little Mermaid'.  In the recent year I have came across the most fascinating photography ever,  the work of  Annie Leibovitz.  As luck would happen in 2008  Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida commissioned Annie Leibovitz to photograph famous celebrities in fairy tale story. From then many beautiful images were produce, I am truly envy those celebrities very much!!

Beauty and the Beast:

”Where a moment of beauty lasts forever“, featuring Jeff Bridges as The Beast/Prince and Penelope Cruz as Belle.

Snow White:

“Where Magic Speaks, even when you are not the fairest them of all“, featuring Olivia Wilde as the Evil Queen and Alec Baldwin as the Magic Mirror.
